Remembrance Sunday at white hart lane

Friends and I travel to white hart lane not only to watch spurs vs stoke, also to experience a remembrance Sunday.

The soldiers lined up on the side lines. The players from both teams march around them and lined up with the match officials. They head towards the centre circle and line up.

A war veteran march down the centre line with a poppy reeve and placed it near the officials.

The official blew his whistle to start the silence.

It felt very emotional during the silence as we gave thanks and respect the people who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the wars as we can live freely. The whistle blew to end and a standing ovation was given to a great annual event of remembrance.
