forest fairy jewellery set

It was originally called a watermelon set however I renamed it to forest fairy. I used the red tiger’s eye as spacers and the agate and quartz has beads. I started making the bracelets, earrings and a hair come.

Then I realise have I got enough red to make a necklace, which I did. Also keeping to the forest theme I made a tree pendant out of memory wire to finish the feature off.

Stormy Blue

After receiving two gemstone strands I wondered how am I going to make jewellery with these. I nearly added them to the stash box. Then something hit me. After doing the green goddess themed set I wondered if I can redesign the bracelet. Ten minutes later a new bracelet was forged then a few minutes later a hair come/pin piece was forged.

Using the charm idea from the bracelet new earrings was formed.

Finally I tried something different for the necklace main feature. I made a flower type thread with the gemstones with a long dangle.

Add the chain and clasp a new feature for the necklace was forged and a new set.

The green goddess kit

After admiring the kit and gemstones I decided to make a completely different set.

Using the graduated gemstone I create a charm which can be used for a pendant or accessory.

Using the same idea I made a pair of earrings and lastly the bracelet.

With other beads I made an easy bracelet, and a pair of earrings.

Also I made a macramé style bracelet and a hair pin/come.

It took a lot of hard work to create these pieces, however it is worth.

Ice Cream jewellery kit

I bought an ice cream kit from jewellery maker and it only contains three gemstone strands.

So I looked at my findings stash and found all the ingredients to make a good jewellery set.

Firstly, I made some earrings and a bracelet to get use to the gemstones

Using the same design on the first set of earring and the simple bracelet I started making the centre piece for the necklace. Working out the length of the chain for the necklace and putting the finding clip on it a new necklace was forged.

Using the same design for the bracelet. I quickly made the chain bracelet and remade the charm for it.

So, after few hours forging and crafting jewellery and I finally made a new set of jewellery probably ready for the next summer or dinner party or sale (depending on situation).

Egyptian Goddess kit

I bought this kit from jewellery maker and it contains all this:

Yeah it’s a good kit; firstly I spotted the three reels of cord so macramé came into my mind. However, I decided to work on the earrings and yes a bit of macramé was involved.

After making the first set of earrings, the right ones, I thought I will make a charm for a bracelet. Looking at it and putting it against the earring finding I turned it into a second pair of earrings, the left ones.

Using the same design I quickly made the chain bracelet and remade the charm for it.

Then I couldn’t resist doing a bit of macramé work.

After looking at the stash I thought I could make one more item which was another bracelet using elastic

I must admit I never made any jewellery using elastic, but I gave it go. After threading the beads and spacers and tying up and gluing the knot, a new bracelet was forged and my first elastic bracelet

So, after few hours forging and crafting jewellery and I finally made a new set of jewellery hopefully fit for an Egyptian goddess.
