Yes, weird title but just think what a sparrow or a bird. I say down thinking about life and problems etc. in the garden. Then a house sparrow came on to the bird feeder and started feeding. I watched it, and it took my mind off and thought it’s grateful for the birdseed and the help it through. Then I reflected myself from the event. I’ve got support, shelter, refreshments etc. and some people haven’t got the basic needs. Then I saw grandad struggling with housework, so I helped him, and he was grateful.
So be grateful for what we have got and helped those who need it because it will make the person and you feel better. Here’s a challenge or two,
1, every morning or night write down ten things you are grateful for daily.
2, take one of those items and drill into by why am I grateful like for me why I like learning new things? Because it teaches me new skills. Why you want new skills? Because it keeps my brain active. Keep going until you no longer can ask yourself why? And to make it more of a challenge do at least five why’s.
Our productivity fields can vary at any time. It can be barren, and you could probably imagine a tumbleweed going across. But next time you may see it full of abundance.
How did we do it? A lot of time, effort and care.
Keep working hard on the field and never give up.
Be patient everything needs time to grow
Water and look after your crops since they need nurturing through its young age.
Keep to your fields and work on them and see your fruits of your labour and don’t worry about your neighbours and never compare with them because you don’t know how long they have been working on their fields and you may lose focus and create mistakes which could cause you to lose all your hard work!
Here’s a challenge for you, get two different coloured post-it notes. One colour representing positive and the other colour negative. Starting on one colour write a one-word attribute like confident in the dark then rip it off and throw it down. Then after you finish swap colours also in the dark and repeat. After you finish, turn the light on and see if you are positive or negative. If you are positive, keep it up. If your negative, it’s okay but just turns a few negative things into it’s opposite. You will feel better afterwards. for my results, I had more positive 3 times over than negative.
I’ve been writing short stories ever since in was school, been self publishing for a few years. Our lives are just like books. If can be turbulent, sad, intense, joyful, amazing and the ending can be great, depressing or tender hook. So who writes our book of life? Is it or neighbour, a friend, your enemy, your family member or you! My life book so far has been written by me. Yup that’s right. All the experiences on and off the blog are written by myself under different circumstances. The best thing is when we write a new page it’s clean and fresh where we can pick up or restart things. New page, new beginning and new day. So make it positive, amazing, fruitful and the main thing being happy and great for ourselves. Pick up that pen or pencil, turn to a fresh clean page and start writing great positive things like starting a new day with positive thinking because only you decide what to do!
I done a course to build my self esteem and track my progress on my depression. It went really well and I admitted I almost took my own life and overcome my depression daemon that influence my cause, but there was a story I heard during the course which touched my emotions and it reminded me the night I almost died. It sent me into tears however it reminded me ‘I’m grateful for my life and I’m glad I’m still here.’
The main reason I’m glad I’m still here because I’m able to tell the story and how much life is precious to us all. I don’t know how much of an impact the blog has done so far but, I’m planning to write a story about it on the kindle and release it into the public. Hopefully, it will create awareness from another avenue, since there are never ending ways of creating awareness about mental health illness. Enjoy life and be grateful for it.
It has been a long time I have done a running event. To be honest I cannot remember the last time I have done it except holding a 10k cancer research medal and a small banner. I wanted to skydive but my fitness levels are very low. However, I am hoping to find something to bring my fitness levels up again and to combat the negativity that dwells in my mind. Then, out of the blue My Marathon appeared. At first thoughts that’s impossible but after planning and thinking about it I’m going to give it a go since I have nothing to lose. I’ve started training by using a cardio app, a yoga app and running around the block to start building up the fitness levels and preparing for it ready for the next month. So, please sponsor me by clicking on the link below and help me reach the £300 + marker.
I am willing to try anything to sooth my tormented mind from the mental illness i suffer from. That is why I am trying couple of hypnosis apps to see what happens. I must of admit trying hypnotherapy is scary and can be dangerous if not done properly. Also I have done this a few days now and there are a few changes but very little however it’s progress, one more step long the road is going
The apps I trying are
Anxiety and panic relief
Sleep and relaxation
In couple of months time hopefully if I remember I will do a review
